flippersA flipper is a temporary, removable appliance that is used to replace missing teeth. A flipper is for cosmetic use only and is not designed to be worn when eating or sleeping. It is a lower cost option than a partial or bridge, but not meant for long term use. Some insurances will cover some of the cost of a flipper if it is replacing a missing anterior (front) tooth while healing in preparation for a bridge, partial or implant. Size, shape and tooth color will be decided by you and Dr. Roberts when the impression is made.
