I was born and raised in the Paris, Texas area where my parents still reside. Growing up in the country started my love of outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping and spending time at the lake. I first attended The University of Texas at Arlington and in 1997 I graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. I worked as an intensive care nurse at Baylor Hospital in Irving, Texas for several years. During this time my daughter Erin was born; this is when I started thinking about the dental field. I graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in 2005. I started working in Hugo at New Image Dental after graduation, with the goal of having my own office as soon as possible. I achieved that dream in June of 2007 when I opened my office here in Durant, Oklahoma! I have been here since and really love this area of the country and the nice people I get to meet on a daily basis. It is important to me that I have a great team of employees and that we can offer you individualized, safe, and affordable dental care.

Dental Hygienist

Hi, I’m Khara. I grew up in Caddo, Oklahoma and studied Biology at Southeastern Oklahoma State University before moving to Dallas, Texas to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. I attended Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated at the top of my class. I moved back to Oklahoma in 2015 to be closer to my friends and family. I love to read books and am a member of a book club with some of my closest girlfriends. I am a dog mamma to two beautiful fur-babies, Rocky my 12-year-old Schnauzer rescue and Millie, my 4-year-old Airedale. I’ve been a dental hygienist since 2013 and I truly enjoy developing relationships with all my patients and helping them achieve healthier mouths.

 

Holli Hendrix

Hi, I’m Holli. I grew up in Hitchcock, a small town in Western Oklahoma. I attended the University of Oklahoma in Norman for two years and then graduated from OU College of Dentistry with a bachelor’s degree in Dental hygiene in 1993. I moved to Durant in 1994 and have been a hygienist in private practice ever since. I have two children; ages 21 and 17. I love God and serving in the Children’s ministry at church. I enjoy all sports, gardening, traveling, and animals. Since I began my career, I have strived to be a kind, caring and gentle Dental Hygienist. My goal is to help every patient maintain a healthy smile. As Mother Teresa said, “We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.”

 

Makenna Jones

Dental Hygienist

Hello, I’m Makenna. I was born and raised in Durant, Oklahoma. I went to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, before transferring to The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. I graduated from Dental Hygiene school in May 2021. I began working for Dr. Roberts, who was my childhood dentist, right after graduation. Working here has introduced me to the real world of dentistry. Dr. Roberts and the staff have continually helped me grow as a hygienist. My position has not only given me the opportunity to help my patients but has also helped me create lasting relationships with them. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends. I have a dog named Leo that is like my child. I also enjoy cooking and playing video games.

Marie Roberts

Lead Dental Assistant

I began my career in Dentistry in 2005 and have been a chairside assistant for most of my career. I’ve worked with Dr. Roberts since 2014 and we have been married since 2017. I have two daughters and a stepdaughter that occupy most of my free time. We are very adventurous and love to travel. Most say they could never work with their spouse but Dr. Roberts and I work very well together and make a great team!

 

Chassidy Ramsey

Dental Assistant

I grew up in Eufaula, OK and attended college at The University of Phoenix online in Phoenix, AZ. I have worked in the dental field since 2014 as a Patient Care coordinator and Sterilization Technician. I found that my growing love for teeth and patient care led me to want to become a Dental Assistant. From there I completed the Dental Assisting program at Westside Dental Assisting School in Durant, OK. Shortly after completing my assisting program I began working for Dr. Roberts in April of 2019. I love helping patients to feel at ease and confident in the care they are going to receive with us.

My son, Tristan, and I moved to Durant in 2017 from Crowder, OK and as much as we miss our family, we have had a great experience living here in Durant. My son and I love hanging out together watching movies and baking cookies. In my spare time I am an avid reader and Amazon shopper.

Insurance Coordinator

Hi, I’m Toi! I began my career in dentistry in 2008 here with Dr. Roberts. I’m blessed to have experienced several positions in the dental office but accounts receivable and insurance is what I’m most passionate about. I grew up in Calera and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and I currently live in Durant. I enjoy coming to work every day and take pride in my work, but I mostly enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and two bonus kids. My favorite hobby is spending time with my family.
